Katie & Ray

How did you meet?We met online through a dating site called Bumble. After the first date, we were inseparable. What is your favorite thing about each other? Katie’s favorite thing about Ray is his sense of humor and fun-loving, positive energy.Ray’s favorite thing about Katie is her ambition and contagious smile. How did the proposal go? Give us all the sweet details!Ray proposed to me during a huge fundraiser during the Kentucky Derby. We were going to be traveling the next weekend on vacation, where I was sure he was going to propose. We showed up to the event all decked out in derby attire. We were taking group photos in a big photo booth area, so the atmosphere was very chaotic and fun. All the sudden, everyone moved away, and he got on one knee. The photo booth camera got shots of the whole moment. I said “No” three times until I realized what was going on. Ray’s daughter then came out holding a sign that said, “AND ME TOO?!”. It was an unforgettable moment. Where was your ceremony held and why did you pick this site?We love to have fun! It was important to us to have our wedding in the middle of the French quarter in New Orleans, Louisiana. For our venue, we picked the Chateau LeMoyne for its quaint, eclectic style and energetic vibe. It has a beautiful, romantic courtyard in the back with a fountain. It just fit us and ...

The second is how he is always so encouraging and supportive of me in everything I do. Joe: My favorite thing about Caitlin is that even during the darkest time in my life,  she always stuck by my side and pushed me to get better. Wedding Date: December 8, 2018Wedding Location:St. Louis CathedralReception Location:The PresbytèreFlowers: Ever After FloralWedding Videographer:Chris Castillo FilmsWedding Coordinator: Elizabeth Burkhardt EventsPhotography Team: Trent & Titus   How did you meet?Jeff and I were introduced by a mutual friend, Lauren. Lauren and I went to high school together and she and Jeff worked together. We hadn’t spoken in over ten years but we’re Facebook friends. One day, I got a message from her completely out of the blue saying that she knew this was very random but there was a guy at work who is single and when he described his ideal woman, for some reason I came to mind. She had followed my travels and posts over the years and told him about me. When he said she could reach out, he didn’t think I’d respond. I almost didn’t because I thought she had been hacked, but I did and it was one of the best decisions of my life. We chatted on Facebook for a bit while at work and spoke on the phone later that evening for over 4 hours. That continued for a few days before we finally had dinner together that weekend. We’ve been together ever since as we just instantly clicked.  What is your favorite thing about each other? Ashley: My favorite thing about Jeff is definitely his heart. He is one of the ...
